Chicago Jazz Quartet

The name "Chicago Jazz Quartet" may lack a certain air of originality, but it conveys an important message to the audience for which this group was formed. In August of this year (2004) we'll be leaving for our Jazz Ambassador tour of East Asia. This trip will last approx. six weeks and take us to at least five different countries. The trip is sponsored by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, under the auspices of the US State Department.

Our job is to perform, educate, and represent vocal jazz to the people we meet there... from local dignitaries to local musicians. (in years past the theme as been "blues" or "latin")

Each band member contributes to the overall sound of the group in a unique way, and we are very much looking forward to what lies ahead for us both musically and culturally with the places and people we will encounter.
